Matt’s most recent collections for adults are Tales from the Leaking Boot (Iron Press, 2018) and Spoon Rebellion (Smith Doorstop, 2017). His previous books for adults include poems inspired by being Derbyshire Poet Laureate, Footsteps and Fuddles (Derbyshire County Council, 2013), Swimmer (Upside Down, 2009) and the poetic novella Plot 161 (Spout, 2001). His most recent book for children is The Owl and the┬áPussycat and the Turtles of Fun (Two Rivers Press, 2014), which features his prequel and sequel to Lear’s poem, as well as Lear’s original, with gorgeous lino-cut illustrations by Pip Hall. His previous collection Goblin In The Fridge (Upside Down, 2006) was a Poetry Society Children’s Bookshelf Summer Choice. His poems for children are in anthologies by Scholastic, Hodder and Stoughton, Macmillan, OUP.
